Seminole Hard Rock Restaurant and Casino: "Seminole Hard Rock Restaurant and Casino" Fort Lauderdale Nightlife Tip by goingsolo

Fort Lauderdale Nightlife: 59 reviews and 141 photos

This place opened in May, 2004 amidst much local fanfare, rumored to be a casino which resembled Vegas. The brand new Hard Rock hotel is beautiful and there is a casino, but its not Vegas. Not quite yet and most likely not ever.

At the present time, the casino has $5 maximum bet poker and regular slots only. We were told that they will be expanding to become a full-service casino at a future but undetermined time.

For now, this is a good place for locals and tourists to get a bit of a Vegas fix. Its a bit out of the way, but the facilities are brand new and impressive. In keeping with the Vegas style, there's a all you can eat buffet, a nightclub and even a spa. No neon lights though.

Dress Code: Vegas casual. We saw the same mix of dress code that you would in any Vegas casino, with the only exception that no one was really dressed up. This is S. Fla so people will wear shorts whenever they can.

Address: 5731 State Road 7 aka 441
