"Vancouver Look Out" Top 5 Page for this destination Vancouver Lookout (Harbour Centre) Tip by jamiesno

Vancouver Harbour from the Look Out
by jamiesno

One way to get your internal map straightened out is to visit the Vancouver Lookout and get an amazing view of the city and harbour. From there you can plan what you want to visit in the city.

It is $10 CDN to get to the top. I provided a web site address as well where you can get a virtual tour of the lookout. One neat feature from the lookout tower, is interpretation of most of the major buildings and sites in Vancouver that you can actually see from the tower.

There is also a rotating restaurant that I didn't get to eat at this time around but it rotates and during the course of your meal you get to see the entire city. Probably a little expensive but romantic. I remember eating at the Calgary Tower restaurant.

Harbour Centre Tower is Vancouver and British Columbia's tallest building at a height of 581 feet!

You'll notice in the picture I provided there is an airtraffic control tower on the top of one of the buildings. They do the airtraffic for the harbour only, there are a lot of float planes landing on a regular basis in the harbour. You can also see Canada Place in this picture.

Please rate my tips and leave your comments, I enjoy them all.
