Römer - Römerberg, Frankfurt am Main: 74 reviews and 120 photos

The Old City Hall, built in the 15th century, consists of 3 similar cusp gabled buildings. It became the city hall in 1404 and then hosted banquets and celebrations for the crowning of emperors. It is also possible to visit the "Kaisersaal" (Imperial Room) where crowning banquets were held, now decorated with portraits of the 52 emperors. It will unfortunately be closed during the whole summer 2004.
