  Cruisin' around the Baltic

If you have to travel to Helsinki from Stockholm , consider taking a 16 hour overnight cruise on one of their luxury liners. Two competitive lines, the Viking and Silja Line , connect Helsinki and Stockholm.
I took the Viking Line as their ticketing office was at the Central Terminalen* in Stockholm and really easy to fine. On top of that, they gave a discount on account of my ScanRail ticket.
Just take note of these pointers when you're going on these cruisers -

1) Book ahead ! These cruisers are popular as they are cheap and they offer duty free shopping.
2) Try to book your cruise on a weeknight. The tickets are more expensive on Friday nights.
3) You pay less when you buy a round trip ticket.
