"Don't trust anyone" Morocco Warnings Or Dangers Tip by sjvessey

Morocco Warnings and Dangers: 176 reviews and 133 photos

Everyone, literally everyone, is after your money. You will be ripped off at every opportunity. Unless you have an arabic heritage, you will stand out like a sore thumb, and everyone will be after your money. Little children will surround you and ask for cash. Take a photo of a snake charmer or a water seller, and you will be expected to pay them for the privilage - and if you don't, they might not be very happy about it.

Don't accept anything that appears to be free from a stranger. They will demand money at some point. Don't accept offers of guided tours from people you don't know. Basically just ignore everyone who tries to talk to you when you're out on the street. Don't even make eye contact.
