  The Peacock Clock

In the centre of the Pavilion Hall (hall nr 204), you can see the famous Peacock clock, attributed to the celebrated English Mechanical and Clockmaker James Coxe (1723 - 1791).

It is made of gilded bronze.
In fact it is an animated clock. And it still works, as every day at 17.00 the peacock opens his big golden feathered tail.
