  The Armorial Hall

The Armorial hall (hall nr 195) was designed by Vasily Stasov after the fire of 1837.

In this big hall you can see representations of coats of arms and heraldic emblems of all the provinces of Russia, attached to bronze chandeliers. Because of these items this hall is named the Armorial hall.

As earlier it was used for big receptions and balls. So in fact it was the big ball room.
