"Nothing special to pack" Top 5 Page for this destination Riga Region Packing List Tip by Dabs

Riga Region What to Pack: 5 reviews and 2 photos

Luggage and bags: The train and bus stations are walkable from Old Riga, I was glad that I packed light. Since we were staying at the same hotel before and after Vilnius, we left most of our luggage at the hotel and just took the minimum of what we needed.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: A lot of the streets are cobblestone, so bring good walking shoes. It was only warm enough for sandals on the last couple of days.

Don't pack tight pants or you will be sorry!

Late May was still cool enough that I needed a light sweater. I also brought a water proof jacket which came in handy the first couple of days.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Our midrange hotel had no toiletries besides soap so it's a good idea to bring your own or you can buy at the local stores.

Photo Equipment: Bring lots and lots of film/memory for this city if you are an architecture fan.

Review Helpfulness: 2.5 out of 5 stars
