"A unique place to play" Jenison Off The Beaten Path Tip by just4funds

Jenison Off The Beaten Path: 1 reviews and 1 photos

Hager Park was the site of our youngest's Kindergarten graduation ceremony. I had never been to Hager park and was quite impressed with what I was able to see.

There is a very large play area for the children which sits atop a small hill and continues for a long way. This is constructed of large timbers, and features slides, chutes, flexible soft climbing bars, zip-rail, swings, catwalks, and on and on.

There are also biking/jogging paths which are paved, (along with nature trails,) at least two picnic pavilions which can be reserved and many picnic tables and barbecues.

The most unique feature is shown in the photo. This is a giant map of the continental United States, complete with major rivers and Geological features (notice the Rockies on the left?) I stitched 3 pictures together, but you can see some flaws along the lower portion. It is the best which I could do, I did not think to stitch the photos together using the camera's feature.
