Strawberry Square is definitely a highlight of Harrisburg--perhaps one of the best known things about the city, too. It's a major complex, but not as annoying as a shopping mall. The design of the building is beautiful (and award winning), open with a nice atrium. It's a great place to go and have some coffee (at Sparky and Clarks) or the "famous" roly poly sandwiches--but most of all, it's just a nice building and I'm enjoy spending some time there.

What to buy: The Shops on Third are more upscale than the others--(and that's where Sparky and Clarks is)--but I don't know if I have ever gotten anything here.

What to pay: average prices in Harrisburg--remember that clothes in PA aren't taxed. Nothing considered a "necessity" is.

Address: N 3rd and Walnut
Directions: 100 block of N.3rd, at the strawberry arcade, there's a parking garage that will lead you to it
Theme: Other
