Madame Tussauds Wax Museum can be thought of as a Tourist Trap, but at the same time it is also historical, and very fascinating. There is the history of why the wax figures were created in the first place, and seeing who was considered worthy of being copied into wax. Some of the recreations are very disturbing, with the lights and sounds making it all the more so. Families must judge what parts to allow their children to see, but it is an exellent place to see some of history come alive, and to see who is being featured.
The staff of Madame Tussauds have a great sense of humour too. On one of the benches, near the Royal Family exhibit, I believe, appeared to be a tired patron. A second or even third glance made you realise that perhaps she wasnt really alive.
