the beach was very clean n calm compared to the last time i went.
The monsoon is from Nov - Mar and the beach will be scattered with jellyfish as advised from the beach board.
They have 4 colour flags.
half red & yellow -> beach ok to swim and life guards r partrolling.
yellow -> beach ok but swim at own risk and no life guards patrolling ( usually is this flag)
red -> beach is not advisable to swim ( they put when it hits 6pm)
Blue -> during the monsoon season
