Singapore Things to Do: 1,995 reviews and 3,531 photos

At the Images of Singapore exhibit takes you back into 14th century life in Singapore. You can also see some of Singapore?s historical personalities like Sir Stamford Raffles. The surrender chambers featuring actual film footage between the British and Japanese used to be housed here also but are being moved to Fort Silosa.

Fort Siloso is at the western tip of the island and is the only remaining British coastal fortification in Singapore. The large cannons which were instilled by the British unfortunately pointed the wrong way (the way they thought an invasion would come from) as the Japanese entered from Malaysia. The fort later served as a Japanese POW camp but today it is a museum.
