This unassuming club is located in a once-dilapidated building in Inglewood. Even though the surroundings could use a little work, The Ironwood is becoming well-known for offering local and not-so-local original independent music 7 nights a week, and attracts a crowd as eclectic as their musical offerings.

They also host a Big Band Brunch once a week, with a house band created from some of Calgary's top jazz musicians. The Ironwood holds perhaps about 150 people, ensuring an intimate setting.

The Ironwood is open daily for lunch; I haven't eaten lunch there personally, but we recently attended a private event there, and from judging the excellent quality of the food there, I'll have to make a point to go.
