Celsus library at the end of Curates street dates back from the 2nd century AD and was built as a monumental tomb by Celsus?s son. The library has a two-storeyed fašade and a single large hall inside. There are several statues in the niches symbolizing the virtues of Celsus: wisdom, knowledge, destiny and virtue.
