Yama: "The *best* sushi in all of New York City." Yama Tip by lulu_girl

Yama, New York City: 3 reviews and 1 photos

I bow down before thee, oh great Yama sushi! This place is seriously the bomb...it's just so good. They don't take reservations, so people generally line up outside the restaurant before they open for dinner...that's dedication, to be sure.

The decor is fine. It's not too cramped, which is nice. The menu has a pretty diverse range on it. I remember a sea bass appetizer that just made my day...so very, very good. The sushi rolls are big and filling. Every time I go here, I end up ordering lots of appetizers and having drinks, so I'm not a good judge for price. I'd say on average, dinner with one appetizer and a beverage is around twenty bucks...maybe $25.

Favorite Dish: gah. Damn near everything!
