In Africa you expect to find lions, elephants, zebras... but seals? Yes, why not?
In the coasts of Namibia there is a huge seals colony named Cape Cross, located near the place where the first portuguese sailors (Diego Cao) disembarked in the area back in 1486.
The place is near Swakopmund, it can be visited from that town on organised tours or on your own.
The worst part of the visit is the horrible smell all around the place, you start to feel it almost 1/2 kilometre away!
