You can't very well go all the way to London and not stop to see one of the most famous bridges in the entire world, the Tower Bridge. Located just next to the Tower of London, the bridge has spanned the River Thames since its completion in 1894. The span in the middle of the bridge used to be raised about 50 times a day to allow tall ships to pass underneath, but nowadays it is only raised 4 to 5 times a week. You can even see the original steam engines that used to raise and lower the bridge.
