Cycling is very good in Cyprus.There are several good bike trails worth following.A book you can get from CTO(Cyprus Tourist Org) has them listed.These rides are on mountain trails and off road and on road tracks.The Troodos mountains are very good as the scenery is marvelous.You must have a good quality bike with high gears for this mind.You can actually hire such bikes in Troodos.In winter you can ski the Troodos mountains too.From about January to end of March they have snow.Mt Olympus has 4 ski runs which are very popular.
Hiking is a very popular passtime too.People dont tend to hike during hot months of July and August though as temps are just too hot.You can follow marked walks and go with a group too if you want.The CTO has a book with routes in.Troodos Mountains have the best hikes.There are easy walks and they have great scenery.The Arkamas also has good hiking.North Cyprus also has fantastic hikes.
Boating is also big in Cyprus.I saw many boats in Kato Paphos harbour.You could either hire a boat or go on a boat trip with other people.There was a glass bottom boat trip which lasted one hour and cost CY £6.Coral Bay is a great boating spot.A half an hour boat hire in a speed boat will cost around CY £11.It really depends on size of boat etc too.
Diving is another popular sport.The currents around Cyprus are pretty tame and diving is pretty safe.You can go on trips that do diving from resorts and they do courses too.
