"Hard Cider & Mead Tasting" England Things to Do Tip by PrunedInWA

England Things to Do: 566 reviews and 888 photos

Well I won't get any points for accuracy on this one, but, our favorite thing in all of England was driving through the countryside and coming across the most amazing hard cider mill. They had thousands of barrels of hard cider and mead (fermented honey, the oldest alcoholic drink known to man, I'm told) from "wet" to "dry" and everything in between. You pay a small fee, grab a little cup and fill and refill till your heart's content. They have regular cider and some farm animals for the underagers, as well. There were parachuters floating down the sky while we were there too! Their colors lit up the countryside. Loads of fun for everyone!!!
