Bistro 1: "Mediterranean specialities..." Bistro 1 Tip by tzuki

Bistro 1, London: 7 reviews and 9 photos

The Bistro is located in Covent Garden district and the restaurant specialises in Mediterranean dishes and it is run by turks.
The restaurant in situ is very cosy restaurant of two floor with small tables, candles and very friendly service.

Also, in summer they put some tables outside... but I always much prefer having dining inside because the atmosphere is richer and warm.

Another good thing of this restaurant is their menu. Great food and amazing value - 2 courses for 7.90 (5.90 for lunch).

Open 7 days a week 12pm-midnight.

If you pass by London, try to do not miss it!

Favorite Dish: I always take as starter THE MEZE which is a mix of Humous, Tzaziki, Falafel, dolmades, red beans and salad [very turkish, greek dish].
And as a main course, I used to take THE VEGAN MUSAKA. The Musaka is like the Italian Lasagne, but greek -turkish origin and this vegan is made by potatoes, cougettes and overgines with some white sauce....hmmm delicious!
As dessert, one of my favourites: TIRAMISU!!!
