This is a beautiful walk from Concorde Place(site of Royal beheadings) to the Louvre. There are many statues, fountains and beautiful flower beds. It is said that the gardens were littered with a thousand corpses at the time of the Revolution, but you would never know it now. Beware of the people selling art on the way to Louvre, the prices are much higher for the same pictures sold by the river. Also, the artists doing caricatures don't tell you how much it will cost until after they are done and then you are sorry. Another of those live and learn moments.

Address: Place du Louvre
