  Great sight, great site

Favorite thing: This is the first building I noticed in Wien. I took a punt, knowing I was aiming for Stefanplatz, and deliberately went to Schwedenplatz with the idea of walking to Stefanplatz.
I chose this route hoping to see the mighty Danube. In my ignorance not realising that all I was going to see was a side canal with not a lot going for it, especially in winter.

Fondest memory: So it was that I turned my gaze skyward and saw this wonderful baroque (you'll get bored with that word by the time you've finished these pages!) building with a covered garden on top. Though I yearned to go up and have a look at it, it's one of those things that's not going to happen. Still, it looked terrific from where I stood.
