Hundred colours of green within the forests
by Pavlik_NL

On the "Veluwe" plains that stretch out over a distance of 75 kiloemeters from North to South and 45 kilometers from East to West, a special part has been reserved as national park "Hoge Veluwe". This inheritage for The Netherlands from the couple Kroller-Muller is a fine and rich natural area that hold unique and special landscapes in various types. First I want to show you these, before we forget about the true art (nature) and steam on to the museums within the national park.

Once the "Hoge Veluwe" must have been a vast forest that for mankind must have been almost unpentratable. The poor soil (various sand layers) also made it unintresting as agricultural grounds. Later, when attempts to anyway cultivate the ground and therefore cut the forest, rough grounds appeared and even worse ... drift sands areas. Still, forest covers the largest surface on the Vleuwe and within the National Park.
