  Fort Hill
by Jim_Eliason

Fort Hill is a Hopewell Earthworks site built on a hill top. It consists of a town site enclosed by 1 1/4 miles of earthen walls. The area has been left in a natural state (the trees are not cleared away) so the its hard to get an impression of what this would have looked like when inhabited. This is a great place for a hike but for a better view of a Native American "fort" I would suggest Fort Ancient.
