"Amazing testament to Urban Greenspaces..." Central Park Tip by scottyrocknyc

Central Park, New York City: 406 reviews and 745 photos

Central Park is a MUST SEE. Seriously, spend a good amount of time just walking through the park. In the spring and summer it is particularly nice. Winter is also beautiful. I am always amazed that Central Park is my backyard. The zoo is OK and is cheap so it can be a nice diversion while you walk through the park. Strawberry Fields is a neat thing to see...and the memorial to John Lennon (near the Dakota building where Lennon lived until he was killed). Also the big museums all touch the park i.e. The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Natural History.
