  Battistero in Pisa
by globetrott

The Battistero is a seperate kind of church to baptist people and it is the biggest one in the world !
(normally you find this is a side-chapel of a church)
The building dates back to 1152 and was left unfinished for more than 100 years , before Nicola and Giovanni Pisano finished it 1277-1284.
Like to all other attractions of "Piazza dei Miracoli" you have to pay an entrance-fee to enter it.
Open daily 09.00 a.m.-04.40 p.m. and in summer even till 06.00 p.m.

Address: Pisa, Piazza dei Miracoli
Directions: The Battistero is just a few meters from the leaning tower and the Duomo.

Review Helpfulness: 4.5 out of 5 stars
