?????: "Baozi" Shanhaiguan Restaurant Tip by Yso

The restaurant/Baozi bakery also does take aways. The Baozi are delicious and you will have to queue for up to half an hour as it is very very popular.
You can alo have platefuls of salad, chinese porrisge/soup etc (if you can get a table). There is no waitress service so one of you needs to queue while the others bag a shared table!
Favorite Dish: The Baozi (pork and vegetable on the day I went) are delicious steamed bread dumplings. Some of the est I have eaten in northern china.
Address: Nan Dajie
Comparison: least expensive
Directions: There is no obvious restaurant sign, but there is a panel next to the door which mentions bread dumplings in english. It's about half way down Nan Djie on the right if you're heading towards the station.
Price: less than US$10
Rating: 4
