"Water taxi between Perissa and Kamari" Ferries and boats Tip by AcornMan

Ferries and boats, Santorini Island: 41 reviews and 66 photos

The popular beach towns of Perissa and Kamari are located on the southeast part of the island and are known for their long stretches of black sand (actually it's gravel, but I won't go into that here). Although the towns are fairly close together, they are not directly connected by a road because there is a mountain between them. As a result, to get from one to the other by motor vehicle you have to go all the way around the mountain, which is a very long trip. A much easier way to make the trip is to simply take the water taxi that goes back and forth between the two towns on a regular basis all day long.
