"The Royal Palace" Koninklijk Paleis - Royal Palace Tip by acemj

The Royal Palace was built in the mid-17th century and at the time was the largest non-religious building in the world. It was originally built as a Town Hall and then in the early 19th century, Napolean Bonaparte's younger brother converted it into a palace. It is full of Italian marble and can be visited outside of the winter months. I have never been inside, but its massive facade is great to look at from Dam Square.
