Located on Farley Hill in the interior of the island, the Barbados Wildlife Reserve is essentially a zoo where the animals (the safe one anyway) roam freely about the grounds. Particuarly entertaining are the Green Monkeys, who travel in and out of the Reserve at their leisure and really aren't captives there at all. I wouldn't cram a visit to the Rerserve if you're short on time, but for travelers with time on their hands and who enjoy getting out an about, it is certainly worth a visit.
