"Tour the State House" Top 5 Page for this destination Columbia Things to Do Tip by acemj

Columbia Things to Do: 91 reviews and 125 photos

Touring the inside of the State House is free, but there is a schedule. You'll see signs on the outside of the building that direct you to the entry door where the tour begins. Just check in with the security guards (they were really friendly when we were there) and they'll let you know when the next tour begins.

You'll start by watching a good video that tells all about the history and construction of the building and then you'll be turned loose on the building where you are free to stroll around and take photos of the beautiful interior. The video truly helps you appreciate the details and history of what you'll encounter.
