  Get your skates on!
by Custodyspice

3 miles long and apparently if you were to walk on every single walkway in Central Park it would be a total of 65 miles, or something like that. Wasn't prepared to put this to the test as my feet were already smoking by the third day, so we settled for a scenic walk through here from the Natural History Museum to 5th Avenue. Really fat tame squirrels live here, and if they spot you in the distance they run to you as fast as a small terrier might, hoping you might have some spare grub.

There is an ice skating rink on the south side, which is open til April. My travel insurance didnt cover this, so with my history of mishaps abroad we didnt get our skates on.
