NYC MetroCard

If you're going to be in NYC for 5 days or more, I recommend buying a MetroCard. They cost about $21 and are good for unlimited rides on the subway throughout NYC.
No need to buy seperate tickets or wait in line. You just swipe your card through the turnstile at each station.
It's also recommended if you plan on using the subway as your primary way to get around NYC.
