The Huntington Gallery contains one of the most comprehensive collections in this country of British& French art of the 18th & 19th centuries. You will find Gainsborough's "Blue Boy" & Lawrence's "Pinkie" here in their permanent collection. The Gallery also has special changing exhibitions.

In the Virginia Steele Scott Gallery of American Art you'll find paintings from 1730's - 1930's. In the west wing, the Arabella Collection contains Renaissance paintings and 18th century French sculpture, tapestries, porcelin & furniture.
