Hotel New Hankyu - Annex: "Excellent location and amenities in Osaka." Japan Hotel Tip by worldkiwi

Japan Hotels: 234 reviews and 248 photos

The Hotel New Hankyu Annex is in Umeda, the main commercial centre of north Osaka. The hotel is, as the name implies, an extension of the older and tattier Hotel New Hankyu. Single rooms are more spacious in the Annex and the bathrooms are a bit larger. A huge shopping complex called Yadobashi Camera is across the road and the vast underground Hankyu Sanbangai shopping centre is a short stroll away. You are very close to a number of trendy shopping malls actually. Umeda is also the site of a major JR station and the private Hankyu line station is here too. The hotel is right on the Midosuji subway line too.
Single rooms were about ??10300 a night I think (before tax).

Unique Qualities: The location of the hotel is very good. It also has good rooms and a newer feeling than it's neighbouring New Hankyu Hotel. You can watch BBC World in your room.

Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: Umeda area.
Price: US$80-120
Theme: Hotel
