Roman Catholic Parish Church of the Name of Mary’s ( Zupna crkva imena Marijinog) was built in1895, according to the design of Gyorgy Molnar. Citizens of Novi Sad call it the Cathedral because of its monumentality, although the Cathedral and a seat of Catholic Bishop for Backa region is in Subotica. Today’s church was built on the spot of a smaller one from 1742. It was built in Neo-Gothic style, with three naves and is beautifully decorated. Tower is 76 m high.
Tghis church is one of the symbol of Novi Sad and it would be very hard to miss it... it's right on the central square opposite of City Hall.
