This not very pretty, square, glass, complited in 1968 building on my picture housed the New National Gallery (Neue Nationalgalerie) and was the first museum to be opened in the future Kulturforum - modern complex of museums, galleries, libraries and the Philharmonic Hall.

20th century European painting and sculpture esp. cubism, expressionism, the Bauhaus and surrealism and presents often temporary exhibitions like world's most famous paintings from collection of Museum of Modern Art New York (February 20th to September 19th, 2004).
