  Tesco in Truro

The Tesco and Sainbury chains both consist of large modern 'superstore' type shops where you can buy food, drinks, clothing and almost any other thing that you may suddenly find yourself in need of. We made a few stops at these stores in the course of our trip and found them to be very useful !

What to buy: We bought a few items like gloves for my wife (later found the missing ones!), flowers (7 pounds), wine (4-6 pounds), cheese, crackers, bottles of water and so on. Nothing major but nice to have the option! We also had some film developed in the Boots Chemists chain - 8 pounds for 24-shot doubles.

Directions: Almost every large town has one of these.
