Nargile: "Delicious Turkish food....in Scotland??!!" Nargile Tip by fizzb

Nargile, Edinburgh: 3 reviews and 0 photos

This is just the best restaurant in Edinburgh. In fact, it's so good I should really keep quiet about it...but that's rather contrary to the spirit of VT, so I shall share my good fortune.

A fairly small restaurant, it has a great atmosphere, and is really friendly. The owner is usually on hand to make sure everything is ok, and to recommend some wine or food for you.

Favorite Dish: We always go for the banquet style option - mixed hot and cold meze to start, followed by a selection of meatballs, kebabs, fish, rice, etc. Flavours are absolutely fantastic.....mmmm, that reminds me - must add Turkey to the "to do" list!!!

Oh yes, and there's another one in Aberdeen, but we haven't tried that (77 Skene Street)

Address: 73 Hanover Street
Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: One of the roads which runs off Princes Street!
Phone: 0131 2255755
Rating: 5
Theme: Middle Eastern
