Blue water and smooth, large boulders of the Baths
by Jabberjenn

One of the British Virgin Island's most spectacular sights is the Baths at Virgin Gorda. The Baths are basically large boulders and rocks formed from a volcano long ago that sit on the coastline of this tiny island. This spot is Virgin Gorda's most popular and interesting destination. Located near the island's southernmost tip, The Baths of Virgin Gorda create a unique maze of gigantic, smooth boulders that visitors can climb on and explore. Largely because of The Baths, Virgin Gorda has a reputation for great snorkeling. You will find large grottoes and crystal-clear tidal pools in each nook and cranny of every different boulder. You can find a pool of water hidden inside a rock formation, which makes it seem as if you've discovered you're own hot tub in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean!

Address: Somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean....
