  Sunset seen from Oia
by AcornMan

Visitors to Santorini flock to the scenic Oia, a village at the far northwest tip of the island, to view the beautiful sunsets. When you go you'll see why they make this journey. If you ever find a more beautiful sunset anywhere else on the planet, by all means let me know, because I'd certainly like to see.

Getting to Oia is a bit, shall we say, interesting, because you have to travel on a very windy road clutching the edge of steep cliffs. The bus trip to Oia can be downright terrifying, so I'm glad we took a cab there and then took the bus back after dark when we couldn't see how close we were to the edge.
