THE TAJ MAHAL (Agra) - built from 1632-54, a symbol of eternal love, a memorial from the Moghul emperor to his beloved wife who died at 36 years old at childbirth (their 14th, married for 18 years), an abbreviation of the name Muntaz Mahal (meaning "Chosen One of the Palace").

Her name was Arjumand Banu.

It took them 22 years & 20000 workers to complete the monument in the city of Agra, state of Uttar Pradesh, 200 km (120 miles) from Delhi.
