  Colorful La Boca!
by Sharrie

This is an old neighborhood which was probably the birthplace of Tango.
The area known as La Boca is easily distinguished by its colorful houses & ornaments depicting merry-making & dancing.
The colorful facade was said to be the inspiration of the painter Quinquela Martin.
Once an Italian neighborhood, it's also been known as "Piccola Italia".

Take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood.
You'll find people friendly & a sense of nostalgia infuses this little neighborhood.
