Don't even begin to complain about life is hard!

Favorite thing: Most people know about poverty in India.
That's a fact none will dispute.
But any idea how poor is poor?

We asked our drivers how much he made a month.
His salary? US$55.
A driver who drives an air-conditioned car.

Now, we rented the car for about US$33 on the average for 7 days including 6 hours drive to Jaipur & then Agra & back.
That doesn't sound too bad, right?

Now, think again.
We stayed in 5* hotels which charged on the average about US$120 a night.
When I think about it, I fear for my life!
Imagine our expenditure for a day, at least US$200 & the amount of cash (if we are indeed carrying cash for everything, in this case, we aren't, but just imagine...) for a week would be US$1400!
What's stopping the driver from robbing us & killing us?
We spent more than 2 years of his salary in just 7 days!

You know what?
Sometimes I can be totally disgusted with myself!!!

Now, how much do u think this kind of rickshaw drivers make?
Has it hit home yet?
