Cafe Leysieffer, Berlin: 2 reviews and 2 photos

I came inside this luxury German cake shop and cafe when Urszula was doing shopping (or rather window shopping) in nearby Gino Rossi shop where great shoes were sold. The impressive interior really surprised me. They sold pralines, cakes and sweets on the ground floor. And there was the smallish cafe on the first floor with a breathtaking lavish ceiling where we simply had to stop for a while.

Opening hours:
Mon - Sun: 10.00 am - 7.00 pm.

Leysieffer was the German chocolate manufacturer who offered sweet specialties since 1909. They were sold both in Leysieffer cafes (bistros), cake shops and in some upclass food stores in Germany like KaDeWe supermarket in Berlin.

Favorite Dish: They had the best coffee I tasted in Berlin and one of the best I ever tasted. They knew both how to make it and how to serve it. Hmm... expensive place but worth the cost and a little luxury maybe relaxing at least from time to time.
