"Old Town Hall" Old-Town Hall Tip by bpwillet
Old-Town Hall, Prague: 153 reviews and 273 photos
Built in 1338, once King John allowed the town to have a town council, the structure began to incorporate a number of adjacent buildings. Many of them were private homes that were eventually used for the Town Hall when there wasn't enough money to build newer ones. The buildings have been restored since they were damaged in 1945 by the Nazis during the Prague uprising. You can also go into the tower itself and look at the Old Town from some of its viewing galleries.
It is open from around 10am til 6pm Mon-Sunday (Apr-Oct) and from 9 am-5pm (Nov-Mar). It costs about 30KCZ for entrance.
Address: Starometska radnice, Starometske namesti.
