Farming has turned from open soil to greenhouses
by Pavlik_NL

These lands have been used for agriculture for centuries, millenia. The furtile clay soils have brought the Dutch to the top of the farming industries and nowhere on earth the production of a square kilometer soil is higher then here. The world of agriculture is fed by knowledge of the Dutch and now-a-days in crowded Holland even the farmers themselves have become a wanted importing "product" for large open countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the US and slowly also Ukraine and Russia.
Meanwhile in Holland the agriculture is changing more and more into horticulture. Greenhouses (with a much higher profit per square meter) are popping up everywhere. Also in this area, where one can buy beautiful flowers along the road "at the farm" for only 1 to 2 euro per twenty (in a bouquet). You can imagine that Irina doesn't mind me working here once and a while ... (-:
