There are many drug stores "Pharmacia" in Cabo and San Jose that sell prescription drugs over the counter at a fraction of the cost in the US and you don't have to have a prescription. The drugs are on shelves with large signs advertising what is available. Many of the prescription drugs were actually made in the US of A and Canada.
What to buy: Retin A in a tube for $10.
Viagra $21 a pill - really!
What to pay: I would say that most of the prescription drugs are at least 1/2 of what they are in the US.
