McDonalds at Nyugati Train Station: "McDonald's? Well, If You Must!" Budapest Restaurant Tip by dcwizard

I would never recommend McDonalds to anyone as a real restaurant tip anywhere! But if you really, really have the craving for a Big Mac while in Budapest, then make sure to do it at this beautiful location in a wing of the old Nyugati train station. I don't think I've seen a fast food joint in such a beautiful location. McDonalds recently celebrated 15 years in Hungary, and you can find them all over the place. But the location at Nyugati really is special!

Favorite Dish: And oh yeah, get the apple pie here (I think this goes for any European McDonalds). The pies are still fried...so they are less healthy than the current baked American version...but taste so much better.
